Elsewhere ("the app", "we") is a sleep-story and soundscape app. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive your email address and, if provided, your name. This is used only to create and identify your account.
App data. Your selected mood/category preference, saved favorites, and playback progress (which story you played and how far you got) are stored so your experience syncs across app launches.
We do not collect payment information, location data, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
Solely to authenticate you and keep your saved stories and playback progress in sync. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Account and app data are stored with Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL), protected by row-level security so only you can access your own data. Audio and subtitle files are served from Amazon S3 and contain no personal data.
Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple are used only to authenticate you. We never see or store your password.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Elsewhere is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
